The Patricia DiMaggio Memorial Fund
Our friend and colleague Patricia was a remarkable person. Her deep understanding of light and lighting was an invaluable resource for so many of us.
The Patricia DiMaggio Memorial Fund honors her contributions to our industry and perpetuates causes she championed. The fund is education-centric and designed to help individuals of all backgrounds and education levels, no matter what area of lighting they are studying or working in.
It will support and expand upon the IESNYC Student Lighting Competition which she founded during her presidency. The fund will also help to enable lighting manufacturing representatives to further their professional studies. It will also help create opportunities for mentoring students so they too can create positive changes in the lighting industry in New York City and beyond. The fund will also support researchers and practitioners who are exploring the connection between health and the lit environment.
